Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has expressed regret over the South Korean government's response to the nation's court rulings on the wartime forced labor issue.
Addressing questions the lower house of the Japanese parliament on Wednesday,... Abe said Tokyo will deal with the issue unwaveringly based on international laws.
He explained this includes demanding an appropriate response from Seoul.
This is the second time Abe has expressed regret over the issue since the turn of the year.
