South Korea's finance minister says exports for January are expected to decline on-year...after a fall in December as well.
Speaking at an economic vitality meeting on Wednesday, Hong Nam-ki said finding measures to boost exports is important amid slowing global growth and uncertainty over the U.S.-China trade spat.
He said the government will come up with specific measures to support overseas plant projects, content and agricultural exports by February.
Data by the Korea Customs Service shows between January 1st and 20th exports dropped more than 14 percent on-year.
