National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale says he will oppose any legislative proposal that they will come from negotiations between President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD Leader Raila Odinga in order to end the standoff over the IEBC Commissioners.

Speaking during Speakers Roundtable meeting with the Editors Guild, Duale said he is against any move that will undermine the provisions of the Constitution which govern the existence of the commissioners in office.
He said the Constitution is clear on procedures to be followed to disband the IEBC.
A Bill proposing the CORD and Jubillee Coalitions to nominate four people to vetting panel for the Independent Electoral Boundary Commissioners will be introduced in the National Assembly tomorrow.

Speaking during Speaker of the National Assembly Roundtable meeting with the Editors Guild, Justice and Legal Affairs Committee Samuel Chepkonga said his committee will then begin collecting public views for 90 days.
