President Moon Jae-in will hold a Fair Economy Strategy Meeting this afternoon with ministers at the top office to check on the progress of one of his administration's three economic pillars: the fair economy.
President Moon and the ministers will discuss corporate governance and protecting consumer rights.
This will be the second such meeting on the fair economy.
The previous meeting in November last year focused on the difficulties faced by private firms,... where the president reiterated the importance of ensuring that the working class, SMEs and conglomerates can prosper together.
President Moon also said only fair competition and fair rewards for one's work can spur innovation in the economy.
