Even as 75 of the 79 congress MLAs have been packed to the Eagleton resort in a bid to escape BJP's alleged poaching threats, Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and JDS Supremo Devegowda were in full attendance at Mamata Banerjee's united India rally in Kolkata. HDK, during his address at the brigade parade ground, also attended by chiefs of over 20 opposition parties, slammed the BJP for using undemocratic means to allegedly poach away the Jds-Cong combine's MLAs in a bid to topple the govt. Jds supremo Devegowda too addressed the mega rally attended by lakhs of people, extending support to the mahagathbandhan to bring PM Modi down.
