The third and final one-day international between Australia and India at Melbourne Cricket Ground becomes a final with the series tied after the opening two ODIs.
The game also provides a great opportunity for India to go home with series wins in both tests and ODI format.
India captain Virat Kohli skipped training in Melbourne on Thursday, the eve of the match, but veteran wicket keeper MS Dhoni, who shared the spoils of the last match along with Kohli, was in action.
India may look to try Vijay Shankar, who joined the team after the ban on Hardik Pandya, or the seasoned campaigner Kedhar Jadhav in the all-rounder spot at MCG.
