At least four people are said to have died after a suspected terrorist attack on a luxury hotel in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
The Somalia-based militant group al-Shabab said it was behind Tuesday's attack.
Officials fear the death toll could rise and Kenyan security forces are battling to retake control of the Dusit hotel compound.
Explosions and gunshots could be heard at the scene.
One of the blasts is believed to have been a suicide bombing in the hotel lobby.
The al-Qaida-linked Al-Shabab has vowed retribution against Kenya for sending troops to Somalia since 2011.
