CNN reports that President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen will testify before the House Oversight Committee. This is the first major move by House Democrats to bring in a member of Trump's team connected to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Cohen has agreed to testify publicly before the panel on February 7. In December, Cohen pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including two campaign finance crimes. He was sentenced to three years in prison for his crimes.
