A Russian family rescued a baby bear from being killed by hunters.
Sergei Ovchinnikov and his father Alexei Ovchinnikov from Perm were on a fishing trip on December 10 when they found a tiny cub wander around in the woods seemingly abandoned by its mother.
Both father and son decided to leave the female cub there, in case the mother was still in the area, but the little one kept chasing them.
Since the bear cub would not let them go, the family took it home.
Footage captured on December 19 shows the tiny cub following Alexei as he gives the little one some food.
''We were afraid because the mother could appear so we hid'', said Sergei.
''The baby bear then started to follow us as we left the woods.''
''We did not want him to go into town as it could be dangerous for the cub and the residents so we took it home,'' he continued.
''We are planning to give it to a zoo.''
