North Koreans held a mass rally in Pyeongyang on Friday to show their support for the goals set out by Kim Jong-un in his New Year's Address.
The North's Korea Central News Agency said the rally was held in Kim Il-sung Square and featured speeches from North Korean leaders encouraging support for the ruling Workers' Party of Korea.
KCNA said attendees vowed to help boost the North's self-reliance and implement the five-year plan to develop the economy.
North Korea has held such events following its leader's New Year's speech in the past.
