Elon Musk unveiled his vision of a high-speed tunnel system in Hawthorne, CA on Tuesday night by opening the first Boring Company test tunnel. Musk, who founded the Boring Company two years ago after complaining that traffic in Los Angeles was driving him “nuts” says the demonstration tunnel cost approximately $10 million to compete.
