The number of people who've visited South Korea's easternmost Dokdo Island this year has surpassed 2-hundred-20-thousand.
That's the highest figure since 2013 when Dokdo got around a 250-thousand visitors.
It's also about seven percent higher than last year's total.
The Dokdo management office says... what helped bring in more visitors was the fact that ferries to the island ran on a regular schedule from March to October... and that more people are interested in Dokdo.
In total, more than two-million people have visited Dokdo since 2005 when it opened to public for the first time.
