Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has some Twitter advice for President Trump. In a Tuesday morning interview at a Washington Post Live event, he commented: "The president could solve all of his problems if he just showed his wife the tweet before he punches the send button." The suggestion came after reporter Robert Costa pointed out that the president spends more time tweeting about special counsel Robert Mueller than he does promoting the bipartisan criminal justice reform bill he backs.
In the past days, Trump has indeed posted numerous tweets concerning Mueller's Russia probe.
"The Mueller Witch Hunt is a total disgrace. They are looking at supposedly stolen Crooked Hillary Clinton Emails (even though they don't want to look at the DNC Server), but have no interest in the Emails that Hillary DELETED & acid washed AFTER getting a Congressional Subpoena!" Trump tweeted last month.
In another tweet, he wrote: "Robert Mueller and Leakin' Lyin' James Comey are Best Friends, just one of many Mueller Conflicts of Interest. And [by] the way, wasn't the woman in charge of prosecuting Jerome Corsi (who I do not know) in charge of 'legal' at the corrupt Clinton Foundation? A total Witch Hunt."
