There are plenty of reasons to cook with fresh food, as opposed to processed and unhealthy foods. Here are some of what I feel are the best reasons.
1. The Health Benefits – Fresh foods are typically lower in sodium and retain more nutrients than processed foods, making them better for your overall health.
2. They have better flavor – On top of being healthier for you, fresh foods really have a much better flavor to them because of the lack of additives and preservatives.
3. One of the misconceptions people have of eating healthy, is that it is expensive to eat right. This isn’t true. You can grow your own food in a small garden or look for the best deals in the local farmer’s market and actually save money.
