Less than a half hour after Kyler Murray was named the Heisman Trophy winner on ESPN, boxer Teofimo Lopez paid tribute to the quarterback after stunning his opponent with one of the best knockouts you’ll see all year.
Lopez, who improved to 11-0 with the victory, ended the fight just 44 seconds into the first round, knocking out Mason Menard before he hit the canvas.
Lopez’s celebrations were nearly impressive as the KO. He broke out Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature leap, did a backflip in the ring, and later put on an Oklahoma Sooners jersey and hit the Heisman pose.
