President Trump on Saturday insisted there was "no collusion" in connection to the Russia probe.
President Trump took to Twitter Saturday morning and wrote in all-caps: "NO COLLUSION!"
"AFTER TWO YEARS AND MILLIONS OF PAGES OF DOCUMENTS (and a cost of over $30,000,000), NO COLLUSION!" he tweeted.
His post comes a day after bombshell court filings.
"The court filings released Friday by Robert Mueller and federal prosecutors detail the alleged lies Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort told both publicly and to the special counsel's investigators," CNN reported.
Regarding Cohen, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York recommended a "substantial" prison term and fleshed out charges "related to violations of campaign finance laws in 2016. For the first time, government prosecutors themselves directly implicated Trump in those violations," notes the Washington Post.
The court documents also mention "a contact Cohen received in 2015 from a 'Russian national' seeking 'synergy' between the campaign and the Russian government," according to the Post.
In another apparent reaction to the filings, Trump tweeted Friday evening: "Totally clears the President. Thank you!"
