President Trump was reportedly "snappish" over the past days because the spotlight had shifted away from him. That focus, of course, was on honoring the memory of former President George H.W. Bush, who passed away on Friday.  "Mr. Trump has been snappish with aides most of the week, according to administration officials, miffed in part by so many ceremonial events not related to him. He was impatient for the memorials to end but expressed pride in himself for remaining publicly civil," according to the New York Times. Trump has a troubled relationship with the Bush family. However, ahead of the service, he made a number of kind comments about the family and the memorials. "Looking forward to being with the wonderful Bush family at Blair House today," he wrote on Twitter Tuesday. "The former First Lady will be coming over to the White House this morning to be given a tour of the Christmas decorations by Melania. The elegance & precision of the last two days have been remarkable!"  He then tweeted on Wednesday: "Looking forward to being with the Bush family. This is not a funeral, this is a day of celebration for a great man who has led a long and distinguished life. He will be missed!"
