Samsung Electronics is extending its Olympics sponsorship deal until 2028.
The deal was signed Tuesday in Seoul by IOC president Thomas Bach and Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong.
While the value of the deal was not stated, Samsung is one of the largest Olympic partners, and had previously spent an average of 100-million U.S. dollars on sponsorship every 4 years.
Samsung said it will continue as the worldwide Olympic partner for wireless communications equipment and computing equipment, and promote AI, VR, AR and 5G features of that equipment.
