Voters have rejected same-sex marriage in Taiwan, saying it should be restricted to one man and one woman. The vote comes after a resolution last year ruled it was unconstitutional to ban same-sex couples from getting married. Taiwan’s government says it will still press on with new laws but they may now be weaker. According to The Huffington Post, the vote is advisory only but is expected to frustrate lawmakers mindful of public opinion.
