The newly established working-group between Seoul and Washington plans to hold regular meeting about twice a month.
A senior foreign ministry official familiar with the group revealed the planned schedule today, but explained the meetings may not take place if there's nothing to discuss.
The sessions may not necessarily happen face-to-face.
Reportedly video conferencing is a considered option.
The working group launched on Tuesday, when the natino's top nuke envoy Lee Do-hoon, visited his American counterpart Stephen Biegun in Washington.
The group aims to tighten the allies coordination on denuclearization efforts, the implementation of UN sanctions and ways the two Koreas can work together within the framework of sanctions.
