Elon Musk is trying to get out of what he called “delivery logistics hell” by contracting more car haulers.
The Tesla CEO tweeted Thursday that Model 3s ordered by the end of the month will be delivered by year-end.
He explained that using trucks instead of rail takes off more than a month of travel time to get cars to the East Coast.
Musk said the company made some acquisitions of trucking companies.
Tesla had earlier said that orders placed by Oct. 15 will be delivered by the end of the year.
