The militant Islamist group al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack in Somalia's capital. Car bombs detonated on the perimeter of a popular hotel this Friday. Police say at least 20 people are dead.Also, vote-counting continues in Madagascar, following a high-stakes presidential election. President Hery Rajaonarimampianina, who is also a candidate, alleges the vote was marred by fraud. But EU election observers say there were only "very minor" irregularities.And Sunday marks 100 years since the end of World War I. While the fighting was on European soil, France enrolled some 600,000 troops from its colonies. One of those soldiers was Abdoulaye Ndiaye - a Senegalese sharpshooter who fought in some of the deadliest battles of the Great War.
