Swiss prosecutors have launched an investigation into the suspicious relationship between FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Valais prosecutor Rinaldo Arnold.
Media reports have claimed that Arnold had received invitations to various football events, such as this year's World Cup and the Champions League Final in Milan.
Arnold is also alleged to have helped Infantino arrange secret meetings in 2016 with Swiss attorney general, Michael Lauber, whose office is investigating suspected corruption within football's world governing body.
Arnold has said his relationship with Infantino is private and FIFA has insisted there has never been any impropriety in its dealings with the attorney general's office.
