Good afternoon, today is Ipdong, the traditional start of winter in Korea. Temperatures will be mild but there are still high levels of ultra fine dust that blew in from China... with an ultra fine dust advisory in place for many western regions including Seoul.
Sporadic rain won't do much to ease the dustiness, while a heavy rain advisory has been issued in parts of Gangwon-do Province with up to 50 millimeters of rainfall expected, including in Gangneung.
Some more unwelcome news, the air conditions in China this winter could be the worst they have been all year... and that will surely have an impact on the Korean Peninsula.
Today's highs in Seoul will reach 16 degrees Celsius, Busan will have clean air and will reach 19 degrees.
Relief from the poor air is on the way, tomorrow's heavy showers and strong winds will wash away the dust.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
