Florida gubernatorial candidate and Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum responded to a recent attack from President Trump by sharing his grandmother's advice on wrestling with a pig. "I heard @realDonaldTrump ran home to @FoxNews to lie about me. But as my grandmother told me — never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, but the pig likes it," Gillum said in a late Monday tweet. "So ignore him and vote, Florida!" Notably, Trump, in a Monday night interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham, called Gillum a "stone cold thief." That was the second time that day the president labeled Gillum as such, making a similar comment in an afternoon tweet. Gillum has been under scrutiny for allegedly accepting a free ticket to the musical "Hamilton" from an FBI agent working undercover, according to Politico. While the FBI is investigating the Tallahassee mayor's office for corruption, Gillum has reportedly been told he's not among the probe's targets.
