문 대통령, 재정분권 실현과 지방자치단체 일자리 정책 뒷바침 약속
Today in South Korea is officially local government day.
And President Moon Jae-in has vowed to push forward with his administration's plan to decentralize and promised support for local governments' customized job policies.
Speaking at a ceremony for the occasion in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, he said quality job creation is one of the biggest pending issues to which both the central and local governments need to find a solution.
The President added that his administration will work to boost the recruitment rate at public institutions in local areas to 30-percent by 2022... and will support mid-sized firms so they become the center of local development.
President Moon also spoke of the government-led innovative city development plan,... through which the state will invest some 3-point-7 billion U.S. dollars by 2022.
