Pittsburgh Victims Include Married Couple Who Married In Same Synagogue

Business Insider reports At least 11 people have died after a gunman opened fire at a Pittsburgh synagogue during prayer services on Saturday morning. Family members have been notified of the deaths, Allegheny County medical examiner Dr. Karl Williams said Sunday. They were between the ages of 54 and 97. Included in the list of deceased are a married couple: Bernice Simon, age 84, and Sylvan Simon, age 86. Bernice and Sylvan were married at the Tree of Life synagogue in December 1956.
