Having arrived in Seoul on Sunday, U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, started his official schedule in Seoul,... first by visiting South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha.
He is now sitting down with his counterpart, Seoul's special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, Lee Do-hoon.
The two met just a week ago when Lee was in Washington.
They are expected to discuss the latest developments in the denuclearization talks and their strategy on Washington's negotiations with the North after the U.S. midterms in early November.
They are also likely to analyze Pyeongyang's latest moves, such as its vice foreign minister's visit to Russia.
Biegun is also expected to meet with Blue House officials and Unification Minister Cho Myung-gyon later today before departing on Tuesday.
