Well Mark… Wednesday's incident took place just two days after a bomb was found at the home of liberal billionaire George Soros in New York.
Officials said the devices were pipe bombs and were intercepted by technicians who screen mail sent to the U.S. officials.
No one was hurt and there was no immediate claim of responsibility.
President Trump, an outspoken critic of the left-wing media, issued a rare call for unity.

"……The full weight of our government is being deployed to conduct this investigation and bring those responsible for these despicable acts to justice. We will spare no resources or expense in this effort. And I just want to tell you that in these times, we have to unify. We have to come together and send one very clear strong unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America."

The CNN bureau in New York also had to be evacuated after receiving a suspicious package containing white powder, which is being investigated.
President Trump has often called the media "fake news" and the "enemy of the people."
CNN President Jeff Zucker released a statement calling out Trump and White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
He wrote there is a total lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media.
The incident also comes just two weeks before the U.S. midterm elections, bringing a new level of tension in an already deeply polarized country.
