Amy Schumer said she will be supporting Colin Kaepernick in his protest against racial injustice. According to Reuters, Kaepernick began his protest by kneeling during the national anthem. In support, Schumer will not be appearing in any commercials during the 2019 Super Bowl. She said: “Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them.” Schumer also urged Maroon 6 to not play the Super Bowl halftime show.
