Reasons for increase in premium of mediclaim policy
The major and primary factor in deciding your health insurance premium is your AGE.
Age is divided in a age band of 5 years age group.
Example: 25-30 years , 30 to 35 years , 35 to 40 years, 40 to 45 years etc.
Changing age group i.e if you turn 31 then you will enter age band of between 30 to 35 years of age.
Other reason could be Claim of large amount.
