Belgium's top football league has been rocked with a corruption scandal, with top clubs and officials accused of fraudulent transfers and match-fixing.
Belgian police launched dozens of raids over the past two days, searching the offices of nine clubs, as well as a number of houses in Belgium and across Europe.
Four were charged with belonging to a criminal organization and corruption, while a fifth person was charged with money laundering.
According to the public prosecutor's office, the investigation has been going on since late last year.
Belgium's football governing body said it accepts the probe has to take place, but declined to comment further.
