Pledges $1 Million to
Chicago Mental Health Services The artist made the
pledge at the second
annual summit for his
nonprofit, SocialWorks. $100,000 grants will be awarded to six mental wellness providers in the area. SocialWorks also announced
the new "My State of Mind" initiative. Part of the initiative
is a guidebook Chance also announced an extension of his 2017 New Chance fund, which awarded enrichment funds to 20 public schools. With a focus on computer science enrichment, the New Chance fund will distribute $2 million to another
