Residents in Garvin, Carter and Murray County in southern Oklahoma were under a tornado warning on Sunday, October 7 as a storm tracked through the state.
This video, filmed in Wynnewood in Garvin County, shows low-hanging storm clouds at around 1 pm that day.
Several counties reported severe thunderstorms in the area. According to local weather authorities, the storm was moving northeast at around 25 miles per hour.
Oklahoma, a state located in Tornado Alley, has seen unusually few tornados this year. 14 confirmed tornados have been reported so far in 2018, compared with 62 in 2017.
