Apple, Amazon deny reports of compromised servers from Chinese chips

Staying with cyberattacks, Apple and Amazon have vehemently denied reports their servers were compromised by Chinese spies.
Bloomberg reported Thursday that Chinese intelligence officers were able to infiltrate the firms' systems by inserting malicious computer chips into equipment also used by about 30 companies and multiple U.S. government agencies.
That would give Beijing secret access to internal networks.
The U.S. and Chinese governments did not issue an immediate response to the report.
