London's first vegan fish and chip shop opened its doors to the public, offering battered banana blossoms. The artichoke-like blossoms plucked from a banana tree are used instead of the more traditional cod. The shop also offers a wide range of other chip shop stalwarts like burgers and pies, all without any meat or animal products.
