Two puppies were rescued by the Wichita Animal Action League on September 12 when they were found with rubber bands keeping their mouths shut.
The animals were found by a maintenance worker inspecting a flooded apartment. He saw the puppies trapped in a crate “huddled in ankle-deep feces and urine, completely quiet,” the Wichita Animal Action League said.
Video from the Wichita Animal Action League shows the puppies being freed from the bands.
