A monkey was seen fist-fighting a dog at the Hathras Junction railway station in Uttar Pradesh, India.
A passenger Gautam Ghosh who happened to be at the spot immediately took out his mobile phone and started recording the rare event.
In the brief video, a monkey can be seen trying to physically assault a street dog by holding its head and then giving it repeated blows.
The dog can be seen barking at the monkey after the money tries to fight with it.
They both exchange severe blows for a while until a group of monkeys who sees the duo fighting comes to intervene and attack the dog.
The monkeys can be seen chasing the dog away from the spot.
The dog immediately flees the spot on the chase of the apes after seeing the monkeys which seemed to outnumber it in strength.
“I saw the monkeys fighting, I realized it was going to be amusing so I started recording it. The poor dog was left alone and was attacked by the group of monkeys,’’ said Gautam Ghosh.
Monkeys usually move in herds to avoid a situation like this.
