Waves Engulf Port of Stazzo, Italy During 'Medicane' Storm Zorba

Massive waves were seen hitting the port of the Sicilian town of Stazzo, Italy on Friday, as a medicane hit Europe on Friday, September 28.

A “medicane” is a hurricane-like perturbation that affects the Mediterranean between September and October, a study from 2011 said.
