Supporters of Christine Blasey Ford gathered in Washington on September 27, as she testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee about claims that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a high school party.

At least 59 protesters were arrested on Thursday after they blocked a street near the court, USA Today reported. These videos show police leading away some protesters who have their hands bound together behind their backs with zip ties.

Blasey Ford was among three women who have accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. The other women, Julie Swetnick and Debbie Ramirez, were not scheduled to testify.

Blasey Ford testified for three hours at the senate judiciary committee about her allegation. She did not appear at the same time as Kavanaugh, who gave an angry and emotional 45 minute opening statement to the judiciary committee after her testimony.
