15 Freeway in San Bernandino County, California, was closed for almost four hours on Wednesday, September 26, as firefighters battled a fire that had broken out at Cajon Pass.
The shutdown created a traffic nightmare for drivers, who were forced to take alternative routes.
This video, filmed by Beatriz Napoli on part of the freeway that had reopened, shows firetrucks and a helicopter conducting a water drop on the blaze.
Local media reported that the fire was 50% contained by the evening. The cause was still under investigation.
