Road crews were out in South Carolina on Wednesday, September 26, repairing washouts from Hurricane Florence’s journey through the state.
In this video, crews have nearly completed work on SC 145 north of Chesterfield. The photos were shot on Dogwood Lane in the same town.
Chesterfield was slammed after Florence’s September 14 landfall as the storm took days to move over the Carolinas. The torrential rains flooded most of the town. While other areas of South Carolina are dealing with rising river water from Florence, in Chesterfield, repairs and recovery have begun. Credit: SC Department of Transportation via Storyful
