PKR has decided to sack two of its members who were involved in two separate pandemonium in Kedah and Penang, with immediate effect.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday night, incoming party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the decision was made by the PKR central election committee (JPP) after it investigated the two separate incidents during the PKR election over the weekend based on photographs and video recordings.

The PKR polls last Saturday (Sept 22) was marred by chaos, with chairs being thrown during a media conference in Seberang Jaya, Penang.

On the other hand, a video clip, which went viral on social media, depicted a PKR member in Merbok, Kedah, being repeatedly bashed on his head until he bled. The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) had to be called in to restore order.
