The 26-year-old woman, who lives in the Canary Islands, sought medical attention on Friday due to pain in her abdomen. When the turtle was discovered, the patient reportedly had no idea how it had gotten there. She did reveal that she'd been partying with friends a couple of nights prior and was unable to recall events from the evening. Authorities were called, but the woman declined to have the incident investigated. Doctors are said to have determined that her pain was the result of an infection caused by the turtle.
