One of South Korea's biggest holidays, Chuseok, or 'Korean Thanksgiving' is just around the corner.
It's a time when families from near and far gather together.
And with the five-day holiday starting today, the mass exodus from the capital region has already begun.
Traffic out of Seoul reportedly peaked earlier this morning,... and is expected to remain heavy until at around 10 or 11 at night.
The journey to Busan, South Korea's southern port city,... is expected to take around 6 hours by car, which is about 2 hours longer than normal.
To Gwangju, it will take slightly over 4 and a half hours,... and to Gangneung, around three and a half hours.
But the traffic coming into Seoul is not too different from an average Saturday.
