Ego Nwodim Joins 'SNL'
as Newest Cast Member The addition of Nwodim to the late-night variety show was announced Friday by NBC. Nwodim, a University of Southern California graduate, found recognition while performing with the Upright Citizen's Brigade in L.A. The comedian has also appeared in film and TV projects, including 'Law & Order True Crime' and '2 Broke Girls.' Four new writers have also been
added to 'SNL's lineup: Alan Linic,
Alison Gates, Eli Mandel and Bowen Yang. Nwodim will make her 'SNL' debut during the season premiere, featuring Adam Driver and Kanye West,
on Sep. 29.
