Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah told the press that the charges against Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Thursday were not well thought and were a desperate attempt to link the former prime minister with the 1MDB scandal.
He said this after Najib was slapped with 25 new corruption and money-laundering charges.
