A pilot found an abandoned plane in the Nevada desert two weeks after Burning Man festival.

The clip, filmed September 9, shows a pilot discovering a Boeing 747 in the desert – apparently the remains of an installation from the event,

One of the main rules for Burning Man's 80,000 attendees is to 'leave no trace' at the site after the week-long event ends.

The curators, collectively known as 'Big Imagination' said online that they acknowledged "our exodus plan has not gone as expected and we apologise for any undue stress this has caused to the greater burner community."

"We are working with the BLM [Bureau of Land Management] to move the plane into its storage location in a manner that is in compliance with the requisite regulations and also in good stewardship of the land."
