According to Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that Syria likely shot down a Russian military plane near its coast. The president added that the United States and other countries are close to eliminating the presence of Islamic State in Syria and the region. In a join conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Trump said that " it seems to me based on a review of the facts that Syria shot down a Russian plane." Trump added that 14 people were killed in the incident.
