A hero policeman caught up in a shootout was saved after a bullet hit his iPhone in his pocket.Off-duty Sergeant Major Powaret Banjong, 31, had been visiting the packed restaurant on Saturday night when he intervened in an argument on a nearby table and a gun fight broke out. A shot which was heading for Powaret's groin was prevented from making contact after it smashed into the iPhone he had in his right pocket. The smartphone's screen was shattered and there was a bullet-hole in the top right corner - but the bullet did not penetrate the other side.
